Paulina Vazquez, studied a Bachelor of Arts in contemporary dance, and finished in 2009 in the North of Mexico, where she is from. She has moved to The Netherlands in 2012. She been working since then, in different places such as Codarts Circus Arts (teaching physical conditioning, flexibility and modern dance), and in other shows like Turn On The Lights, JULIA (Rotterdam Philarmonic Orchestra), and assisting in the creation and rehearsal period of the acrobatic acts for the Intense Tour of Armin Van Buuren in 2014. As well, last year she has finished a Vinyasa and Yin yoga Teacher certification. She described herself as a movement lover, and next to dance, yoga became her passion.
In her Vinyasa flow class, she focuses on moving from and through the breath. In that way, she believes is easy to disconnect from the doing, and begging with the being, as we enter in a meditative state, where this mindfulness will facilitate the connection with the inner self, and provide safe body alignment on each and every movement and asanas (postures). Through the vinyasas (sequences), the body eventually will find space to create a bigger range of movement, as the student will become (more) flexible and stronger.
